Welcome to Time Testers, Inc. located in the Western
Piedmont Region (foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains)                                   
just off I-77 in Elkin, N.C. (phone 336-835-8994).

What began as a hobby has led to a profession for Jim Canter,
 Vice President and resident clock expert, as his love for the field
 has blossomed into a fifteen year career: a career which as led
many in the Elkin area to consider Mr. Canter “ the area’s leading
specialist when it comes to repair of all types of mechanical and
electrical clocks,” (Historical News, March 1999).

Time Testers, Inc. is a Hermle Dealer, RHYTHM Magic Motion Clock Dealer,
and a Ridgeway Clocks Service Center, and the home of uniquely
different wine accessories.

“In addition to repair and services, Time Testers, Inc. at 107 W. Main St., carries a large variety of clocks - from cuckoos to grandfathers”. (The Tribune, April 2000). Some of the types of clocks we carry include Hermle, Bavarian Black Forest, antique and RHYTHM Magic Motion Clocks.

Time Testers, Inc. is co-owned by Linda Canter, (currently, serving as President), who has been the “silent partner and office administrator-bookkeeper” since its business inception.

Mrs. Canter has expanded the business to include a gift shop featuring wine bottle holders, wine racks, collectibles, clocks, scented botanical and mosaic candles, dated collectible ceramics and stoneware (some items from Germany and Italy), an angel collection of clocks, candle holders and figurines, glass and pewter designs, collectable glassware, framed art prints, and accessories as well as other specialties.

In July, 2004 our daughter LaVonne Warder joined the business. She is currently Secretary-Asst. Treasurer as well as merchandiser and buyer.
